A creative and photo studio in Bečići
Rhomn Studio is a multifunctional space for photographers, fitness coaches and content creators. Rhomn & Co designed it, built it, and then moved into it, which is why almost nothing in it is permanent.
A room that has to be four rooms
A fitness session needs clear floor and height. A product shoot needs controllable light and a clean corner. A portrait needs somewhere that does not read as a gym. Those three uses usually argue with each other, and the way most spaces resolve it is by picking one and hoping.
The answer here was to build almost nothing permanent. Poured concrete, white walls, and a black steel grid across the ceiling that light hangs from wherever the shoot actually needs it. What makes the room work is the absence of decisions already made for you.
Designed and built by the studio that works in it
Rhomn & Co provided the full architectural and design services, from the steel stair and the mezzanine through to the furniture and the single round port window. Then the space went into daily use for our own shoots.
Building something you then have to work in every day is a short feedback loop. It changed choices that would have survived a drawing, and several of the things that look deliberate now are the second version of something that did not hold up in use.
What the space carries
- A black steel ceiling grid, light hangs anywhere on it
- Poured concrete floor and white walls, no fixed set
- An open steel stair to a mezzanine, usable as a second level
- Daylight from a full-height glazed wall
- A lounge corner for the parts of a shoot that are not shooting

- Content creators who need a room that does not look like a room they have used before
